To continue to provide accessible and appropriate healthcare for all, World Wellness Group needs to buy an asset now to secure our long-term future. We are embarking on a bold $5 million campaign to purchase our Woolloongabba fit-for-purpose facility.
Up until earlier this year we were leasing three buildings in Stones Corner (with 126 employees working across the buildings) and were increasingly being priced out of the commercial lease market. In April 2024, we moved into our new, larger premises at Woolloongbagga that are better suited to the needs of a healthcare provider.
Now we’ve finally found a place, a home that fits our mission—a building that can secure our future—but it’s for sale.
Purchasing the building would be a solid investment and prevent us from being priced out of commercial real estate in this area. We plan to purchase the property through philanthropic support, social impact investment and other financial means.
Owning this building will ensure we can keep providing health care services for people who otherwise will not receive these essential services. It also means stability, growth, and enhanced services tailored to our community’s needs.
“Owning our own building will cement our rightful place, allow us to put down roots and thrive – just like a migrant or refugee when they finally find a new secure home”.
Marina Chand, Co-Founder, World Wellness Group
This ambitious campaign will secure our home, creating a haven where marginalised and minoritised multicultural communities can access essential services. It will directly contribute to reducing health inequity in Queensland and improving the health and well-being of multicultural communities.
Together, we can ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they deserve. Let’s build a healthier future together.
We invite you to join us on our journey as we raise funds to invest in a fit-for-purpose building.
“As a multicultural organisation, it just feels like World Wellness Group knows where people are coming from and knows all the struggles that any new migrant would experience. They do their best to help them and make a big difference to their lives.”

“World Wellness Group came to our attention in 2014 – a group of health practitioners with a bold, audacious vision to build health equality for all, including our most marginalised. Since their beginnings they have impressively developed a passionate and professional team and coupled this with the infrastructure, strong governance and social impact framework to enable them to steadily grow and increase their delivery of quality health solutions to those otherwise forgotten by the system. Critically, their ability to address their clients needs and their resultant strong evidence base not only drive better health outcomes for their clients but also informs better health policies within the government, ensuring the impact of their work is leveraged and magnified for all.
We continue to be impressed by the World Wellness team and their collaborative approach to building health equality in Australia.”

We are grateful for dedicated and passionate advocates supporting us on this important campaign.
“I was born in a country torn apart by war. I have experienced depression. I have a spinal cord injury. I am a lawyer. I am a doctor. It is with this lens that I see health. Good health must be a right for every human being. That is why I am proud to support the World Wellness Group. The work of this group opens not just the front line to promote this right, but works behind-the-scenes. There is little more sacred in this world, little more pure, than the impact we can make on someone’s health. That is why I ask for your support, too.“
