Acupuncture is a type of traditional Chinese medicine where thin needles are inserted into specific points on your body. These points are believed to be connected by pathways called meridians, which help the flow of energy in your body. By inserting needles into these points, practitioners aim to balance the flow of energy and help with various health issues

A holistic, individualised approach to acute and chronic conditions, one of the world’s most widely used forms of traditional medicine.
Homeopathy is a natural form of medicine used by more than 200 million people worldwide to treat both acute and chronic conditions. It is the second most widely used form of medicine in the world today (after herbal medicine). The holistic nature of homeopathy means each person is treated as a unique individual and their body, mind and emotions are all considered in the management and prevention of disease. Taking all these factors into account the homeopath selects the most appropriate medicine based on the individual’s specific symptoms and personal level of health to stimulate their own healing ability. Most homeopathic medicines come from minerals and plants and also animal sources.
Who can make an appointment?
Any person who wishes to use homeopathy is welcome to book an appointment. Homeopathy can treat both physical and mental health conditions. Please call our clinic on (07) 3333 2100.

The first consultation normally takes one hour and follow-up appointments take around half an hour. You’ll need to complete an intake questionnaire beforehand — this will be sent to you prior to your appointment.

WWG is committed to providing a range of evidence-based health care options to our clients. As a multicultural service, we understand our clients seek out diverse therapeutic approaches. At WWG we are committed to providing a range of evidence-based modalities.
Homeopathy is widespread and available in some countries and virtually unknown in other countries. India has the largest homeopathic infrastructure in the world, with an estimated 246,000 practitioners in 2010 and with the number of homeopathic hospitals and dispensaries increasing four-fold since 1980 (Indian Council of Medical Research 2010).
It is also well established in some European countries where it is partly covered under the national health insurance such as the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and some Latin American countries. Homeopathy originated in Germany.
Homeopathy uses a highly individualised treatment approach and is unsuitable for randomised clinical research models often used in medical research (one treatment protocol for one condition). However, there is increasing research available and the research evidence base continues to grow.
Our administration team can walk you through the intake questionnaire and schedule your first consultation.

Widely used worldwide
India has the largest homeopathic infrastructure in the world, with an estimated 246,000 practitioners. Homeopathy is also well-established across the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and parts of Latin America.
Individualised care
Homeopathy uses a highly individualised treatment approach — one treatment protocol rarely fits one condition. Practitioners tailor care to the person, not just the diagnosis.
A growing evidence base
The individualised model is unsuited to traditional randomised trials, but the research base continues to expand as new methodologies emerge.
Not sure whether acupuncture or homeopathy fits your needs? Our friendly intake team can guide you to the right practitioner — including support in multiple languages.
