Secure Our Clinic Building

World Wellness Group is at risk of losing our only fit-for-purpose home. Help us secure our building and protect the future of multicultural healthcare and health equity in Queensland.

We’re at risk of losing the only space that makes our work possible.

By 30 June, we need $855K to secure permanent ownership of our Woolloongabba clinic—the only place many refugees, migrants, and marginalised community members can access culturally-safe, bulk-billed medical and mental health services in their own language.

Our building is for sale, and if we don’t buy it, it will be sold to someone else, and we will be forced to move again, for the fifth time in ten years. Without this building, 13 years of proven impact serving those who fall through healthcare gaps could be lost, forcing vulnerable families back into emergency departments or going without care entirely. This isn’t just about bricks and mortar—it’s about preserving a lifeline that’s already increased the clinic’s income and improved efficiency by 29%, delivered $8.6 million in health system savings, and provided hope where there was none.

We’ve raised $3.15 million towards our $4 million target, but we’re $855k short with just weeks remaining. Your tax-deductible gift by 30 June doesn’t just support a building—it secures the future of healthcare equity for thousands.

The Challenge We Face

After 13 years of serving Brisbane’s most vulnerable communities, World Wellness Group faces a critical moment. Our current building is for sale, and we must raise $850k by 30 June 2025 to secure permanent ownership—or risk losing everything we’ve built.

What's At Stake

Since moving to our purpose-built Woolloongabba facility in February 2024, we’ve experienced a 29% increase in income and improved efficiency, now seeing 2.5 patients per GP per hour compared to 2.2 at our previous location. This space enables us to serve clients who speak languages other than English (81% of our patients), making appointments longer but infinitely more meaningful.

If we cannot purchase this building we face:

The Solution

Ownership provides long-term security, cost predictability, and the ability to invest in further improvements without fear of displacement. It reinforces our commitment to the community we serve, allowing us to continue delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare in a stable, purpose-designed environment.
