Multicultural Access Mapping Project for Brisbane North

Project Scope

World Wellness Group is assisting the Brisbane North Primary Health Network to identify the needs of multicultural communities when accessing health care in the region.

World Wellness Group is working with partners to deliver this work – Pasifika Families and Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Services.

There are some key activities planned to help with this project:

  • Survey for people from multicultural backgrounds living in the Brisbane North region (survey closed)
  • Survey for service providers in the Brisbane North region (survey closed)
  • Focus group with people from multicultural backgrounds. Focus groups are expected to be conducted in the following languages: Mandarin, Punjabi/Hindi, Spanish, Tagalog, Nepalese, Korean, Arabic, Karen, Dari and mixed groups, Pasifika background groups and mixed groups living on Norfolk Island.   • Focus groups with health and social care service providers.
  • On 22 April 2024 at 6pm we will be holding a feedback session to share our early findings from this project. If you would like to join our online session, please get in touch.
