World Wellness Group and NHS Race and Health Observatory Announce Landmark International Partnership to Advance Health Equity
Brisbane, Australia / London, United Kingdom | [22 September 2026]
World Wellness Group (WWG), Australia’s leading independent multicultural primary health
service, and the UK’s NHS Race and Health Observatory (RHO) have signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a landmark international partnership to
advance health equity for multicultural communities.
The partnership brings together two organisations united by a shared commitment to
addressing health inequities associated with race, ethnicity, culture, religion, migration
status, language and other social determinants of health. Through collaboration in research,
innovation, policy development, service improvement and knowledge exchange, the
partnership aims to strengthen efforts to improve physical and mental health outcomes for
multicultural populations.
The agreement reflects a growing recognition that health inequities transcend borders and
require coordinated, evidence-informed responses that are grounded in both data and lived
experience.
The partnership will leverage the strengths of both organisations to expand the global
evidence base on health equity, support innovation across healthcare systems and
contribute to emerging international approaches to reducing racial and ethnic health
inequalities.
