We have a simple aspiration: for multicultural communities to be given their rightful place and visibility in the Australian health care system.
Currently the Australian health system does not collect or report adequate health data about people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and their health outcomes. Consequently, there is no visibility, policy response nor investment in the health of immigrants in particular. Important health issues remain unaddressed. We will continue to work on system responses, to ensure this changes, for the better.
