Qi gong starting in November

Please join our weekly qi gong class for absolute beginners.  The class runs every Monday 4-5pm. cost: gold coin donation.  Please email to register.

Weekly relaxation classes

Please come along and learn relaxation and mindfulness skills.  Our weekly class is open to everyone and every age.  We have wonderfully experienced facilitators who work in diverse fields including life coaching, psychology and meditation.  The class is on every Wednesday 4.30-5.30pm. Cost: gold coin donation.  Please join us!

Weekly yoga at the clinic

Please join us every Monday at 4pm for yoga!  Under the instruction of our very experienced yoga teacher Radhika Randell, the Monday yoga group is very gentle, relaxing and fun.  Cost is a gold coin donation.  Please come on Monday.  We have spare yoga mats if you don't have one.

Yoga your worries away

A five-week program that runs two hours each week using ayurveda and yoga to assist in managing worries.  For anyone who wishes to improve their wellbeing!  

Ayurvedic self massage for stress

A two hour workshop with experienced health educator and ayurvedic consultant Reema Naresh.  Reema has facilitated workshops at WWG in the past and is back by popular demand!  Please ring or email through your registration.

Qi Gong for beginners

Due to popular demand, we are running our Qi Gong for beginners groups again.  Starting Wed 25 May 2016, it will run for seven weeks from 5.15-6pm.  No experience necessary!

Pain management group

A six week group covering: understanding pain and pain cycles; relaxation and pain; nutrition and pain; mental health; physical activity; motivation to stay well.

Managing anxiety naturally

A six week group program that provides practical strategies to manage anxiety naturally.  Each week will focus on a different approach.  The program will cover: holistic health and anxiety; relaxation techniques; mindfulness; nutrition; physical activity; ayurveda; and acupressure.

Feel Good English Conversation

Every Tuesday 11am to 1pm.  Feel Good Conversations is ideal for those who are not able to participate in regular English classes for a range of reasons including ability to concentrate or motivation due to mental health stressors.  The FEEL GOOD group is a weekly conversation group focusing on creating an open and welcoming environment for feel good conversations. An ideal environment to practice English and make new friends. 

Women's health information sessions

A women's only space! Hear from our female GP Dr Sue Gray and our practice nurse Rebecca Goodchap about the important women's health issues that will help you stay well.  Interpreters provided.  Please call ph 3333 2100 to find out about our next session.

Coming up

Infant massage

A 5 week group for mums and dads of pre-crawling age babies.  Learn this wonderful technique that is used by so many cultures around the world.  Massage with infants has been practiced across many cultures for thousands of years as an important early life ritual. Massage has been shown to benefit both baby and parents by improving bonding / communication, stimulation of body systems, relief of pain and relaxation to improve sleep.
